Ultrasonic Humidifier FAQ’s V26524
Q Why is there white residue on things around my humidifier?
A The white residue/film is caused by calcium from excessively hard water in your home. If you have hard water, you should use only filtered or distilled water in the humidifier.Q How long will the unit run before I have to fill the tank?
A With a full tank of water the unit will run up to 48 hours on Low and up to 12 hours on High. PLEASE NOTE: Depending on the level of humidity in an environment or location, the unit may run slightly longer or shorter than described above.Q How do I operate the unit?
A Simply take the unit out of the box and fill the tank with water as described in the instruction manual, replace the water tank and turn the dial to your desired humidity.Q What if the unit does not produce mist right away?
A The water in the tank travels from the self actuating valve through the antibacterial filter and then to the atomizer. This process can take anywhere from less than 1 minute to 10 minutes. Please also check to ensure that the self actuating valve on the bottom of the tank is screwed on tight.Q What if my humidifier is leaking?
A When re-filling the tank with water, be sure to empty all water from the base prior to replacing the tank. Also check to ensure that the self actuating valve is screwed tight prior to placing the water tank onto the base.
